The 2007-2008 IRB Sevens World Series kicks off tomorrow at the location of the 2009 Sevens World Cup, Dubai. Sixteen nations will be involved in the Dubai tournament and I believe most of the nations involved will have an equal shot at winning the tournament.

The Fighting Irish men’s soccer team advanced to the Round of 16 in the Men’s NCAA Division 1 soccer tournament by defeating Oakland University last night 2-1 at Alumni Field. Notre Dame will take on Santa Clara, who defeated UCLA. The game will be held at Santa Clara this Saturday at 10pm ET.

The Notre Dame Men’s soccer team returns to action tonight at Alumni Field as they play host to Oakland University in the 2nd Round of the NCAA Men’s Division 1 Soccer Tournament.
